How I Write My Music

There’s never a specific structure that I go to when writing. I usually notice that it’s either a melody that pops into my head or an overall feeling I want or need to release. Sometimes it comes in a lyric and sometimes it comes with a piano riff or even a drum pattern. It’s a form of therapy for me. I feel like my best songs, such as “Losing Myself,” I myself didn’t write. But it was something beyond myself that gave me the information needed to put it into a sound medium. It’s these experiences that keep me loving music and I hope I never lose the love I have for it.
I also consider myself a philosophical and spiritual person. Music and sound can heal in so many ways (proven scientifically), but also can bring all different types of people from all backgrounds of life. It’s the love of sound that I feel like can spread peace and overall positive energy to all.
